Wheelchairs for Ukrainian Wounded

I am the publication officer of the National Ukrainian American Veterans, Inc., a 501(c)19 not-for-profit patriotic veterans organization composed of Honorably Discharged Veterans of the  United States Armed Forces, who are of Ukrainian heritage or descent. uavets.com

Ukraine has been attacked by Russian supported Separatists. Eastern Ukraine has been at war with these aggressors and brave Ukrainian warriors have lost limbs through this conflict. Ukraine is in desperate need of medical transport equipment, especially wheelchairs. This is our second year in this effort. In 2016 our Veterans post collected and sent 12 wheelchairs to Ukrainian hospitals and this was a good first effort.

This year we collected 36 wheelchairs (6 are motorized) and are asking for assistance in covering the shipping costs for this batch and subsequent donations of physical mobilization equipment.

Ukraine has been invaded and she stands as a barrier against further Russian encroachment into Europe. Ukrainian soldiers have been wounded in this conflict and they need our help. We need to ship these wheelchairs in the month of April, 2017.
