We’ve got this Jim Myrick

Out of nowhere came this silent disease. For Jim there was no signs until one day he had a localized seizure in his arm. That was it. No coughing, no fatigue nothing to warn us of a problem under the surface.
Jim has small cell lung cancer. And like most of us thought that nothing would happen to him. He doesn’t have health insurance. Memorial hospital has been wonderful, but 8 days impatient, multiple tests and scans, 2 weeks radiation and now 3 months chemotherapy starting on Tuesday means that he is facing a huge amount of medical bills.
Due to seizures, he is not allowed to drive his big truck Fang. He has worked in the port for 16 years. This is very hard to take. He has worked hard all his life.
Jim is the kindest most generous soul I have ever met. He has had a tough life and despite it all he is kind, loving, considerate and positive.
Jim is the light of my life. Please help him continue to shine. This is his time of need and he needs his friends and family to rally around him and let him focus on his health.
We love you and appreciate you.
