#SmallBusinessRelief  Hello!  My name is Michele Taylor and I am a volunteer for the Westfield Homeless Cat Project in Westfield, MA.  The Westfield Homeless Cat Project is an all volunteer no-kill, non-profit 501(c)3 cat and kitten rescue, serving homeless, abandoned and surrendered cats in Western Massachusetts.   WHCP values each and every feline life and it's WHCP's goal to provide each cat and kitten in its care all the veterinary attention it needs and an opportunity to find a loving forever home.  Some of the cats in our charge require extensive veterinary treatment which not only results in greater medical expense but additional expenditures such as ongoing medication, food, litter and other supplies.  While we had a successful campaign in 2016, we have been inundated with requests for assistance while local shelters and rescues are closed or have reduced operations due to Covid-19. Over the past few months WHCP has incurred sizeable expense due to veterinary emergencies and follow up care and, in November, 2019 alone WHCP had over $19,000.00 in debt.  While ongoing fundraisers and tag sales are beneficial, WHCP is seeking donations to continue serving cats and kittens in need.  This is an all volunteer organization where no salaries are paid -- every dollar goes directly to the care and comfort of our precious rescued cats.

For more information about WHCP and some of our cats in need of dire medical care, please visit us at www.facebook.com/westfieldhomelesscatprojectadoptions  Again, your donation is tax deductible and literally will make a difference in a cat's life.  Thank you so very much for your kind consideration and generosity.  We appreciate your support!

UPDATE - February, 2020 - The Westfield Homeless Cat Project would once again like to thank all of its donors.  We could never continue our efforts without your support.  In 2019, WHCP incurred over $90,000.00 in veterinary bills and $40,000.00 in food and supply costs.  As you can imagine, this has created a tremendous strain on our finances.   As you know, it is our policy that every cat's life is precious and worth saving. But that comes at a price and we ask that you please consider making a donation to help us help them.  Thank you, as always, for your support!!

UPDATE - July, 2018 - The Westfield Homeless Cat Project would like to thank all of its donors for their compassion and generosity. Without you, we could not accomplish our mission to ensure every cat and kitten finds a safe haven and is given all the time and medical attention it requires. Over the past year WHCP has rescued hundreds of cats and kittens from horrific living conditions and poor health. It is our policy that every cat's life is precious and worth saving. But that comes at a price and, due to escalating shelter and veterinary expenses, we have increased our goal to $20,000.00. (Veterinary costs in June, 2018 exceeded $15,000.00).  Remember, we are a no kill, all volunteer rescue.  Please help us help them. We can't do it without you and thank you, again, for your support!  (And don't forget to peruse our updates about WHCP's success stories!!)
