My name is Terry Lynn.... 14 years ago today, I had a young pup get gunned down in the middle of the street, by a city administrator...
She was shot 4 times before it finally took her young life...
That got me started in rescuing animals... July of 2006, I took over the care of our small town pound... My family and I provide all care and supplies... We have wonderful people that donate dog food and other supplies... We have taken what use to be a 99% KILL pound to being 0% kill for almost 11 years now... We get them all into awesome rescues across the US...
I also help with dogs in need in the surrounding towns... The past 6 to 8 months, we have pulled MANY from the town of Clinton, Oklahoma... Some so badly injured we didn't know if they would survive... Due to love and the care from a wonderful vet and staff, we have saved them all....
We have taken in ill and injured dogs that rescues have turned away...
Rascal was one of the worse... Infected wounds took over his back.. he was heavily sedated for over 2 months while it healed... we raised some money when I posted his case, but when others came in, the money was used for them....
We have has so many severe cases.. but when others turned them away, we couldn't.... looking into thier innocent eyes, we knew we had to try our hardest to save them...
At this time, we have 4 in boarding...
RASCAL, who is mentioned above....
SHILOH, an old lab mix that had a badly injured hip, left to lay on a cold hard floor in a pound...
KOALA, a sweet girl that was hit by a car on Interstae 40 and laid in the medium for days... we spent 2 days trying to catch her after chasing her into a KOA...
BUDDY, a big boy whose owner beat him so badly he could hardly walk.....
Today, Rascal and Koala's bills invoices were done for the end of the year....
Rascals is $2959 and Koalas is $1851 to date... That isnt counting the other two and any days that come after this...
I am asking for help.... We can not continue to help these innocent creatures without it.. Please remember, NO AMOUNT IS TOO SMALL....
