Chellee's Cancer Treatment Fund

Many of you probably know Chellee Lowder, or at least recognize her on the slopes (probably shredding harder than you!). If not, you probably know her art or have seen her at the Farmer’s Market in Driggs.
This fall Chellee was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 30. She’s started an aggressive treatment of chemotherapy, surgery and radiation that will take about a year. She's traveling from Pocatello to Salt Lake City at the Huntsman Cancer Institute. That means travel expense and a loss of work for both her and her husband, Rudy and many other health costs tied to her treatment.
A talented artist, Chellee makes her living at art shows, mostly in the summer months. Because of the treatments, she won’t be able to travel much this summer and is not applying to shows like she normally does. She’ll hopefully be able to do some local shows in Driggs and Jackson, but at this point it’s hard to say, so the income she normally counts on is unknown.
All the travel also takes a toll on their car, which will need to be upgraded soon. It all adds up quick. She does have insurance, but will have to have routine checkups every three months and be on Tamoxifen for 10 years. That means she’ll be matching her deductible every year.
Let’s help relieve some of the financial stress. Anything you can give helps. If you’ve been eyeing a piece of her artwork, that’s also a great way to support her and her family.
