RYAN IS RECOVERING

RYAN IS OUT OF THE HOSPTAL AND QUICKLY RECOVERING! DONATIONS ARE NO LONGER NEEDED! Thank you all for your prayers, love and continued support!
Ryan is a proud and dedicated Iron worker and member of Local 377. Ryan was devastated when he learned that he had to be off of work for 6 months due to a work related shoulder injury. After Ryan's surgery and 6 months of recovery, Ryan had only been back at work for 2 weeks when he started feeling ill. After a few days, Ryan visited the Dr on Tuesday 5/10 (with a 103 temperature), and was told that he had a cold, to treat with mucinex, and he would get over it. Wednesday afternoon he started having trouble breathing and was taken by a friend to the ER, where they discovered his kidneys were beginning to fail and immediately began life saving measures. He's now in the ICU in an induced coma, on life support, and being treated for septic shock and pneumonia.
As of 12:00pm Thursday Ryan is stable, but the X-rays have not shown any improvement with the infection in his lungs. The doctor he had in the ER just called us and he is working together with the ICU Doctor. They just performed a procedure and put a scope down into his lung to get some of the mucus for testing. We won't have any results back for a few days, but when they do they'll have a better idea of what they're dealing with.
The money being raised will help to cover Ryan's medical expenses, and any of his other bills now, and throughout his recovery.
We ask for your prayers, love, thoughts, positive vibes, whatever it is that you believe in during this time!
