Wellhouse FC

We are an amateur team based in the east end of Glasgow. We formed over a year ago from a group of pals who just played 7 aside football 3 times a week. We decided we wanted to form a team, we play in the Sunday central league. Our team is a mix of guys some who work and some who don’t. Training and the games gives us something to focus on every week. We are 1 of the few teams who don’t have any sponsors we have tried everything with no luck. Despite being being from an area where unemployment and poverty is high Our team is solely financed by the players which certainly limits how far we can go. The cost of hiring a pitch for training has went up to £60 for 2 hours a week. Any money raised would be spent on equipment and help towards transport costs for away games aswell as for training.
