Send Byron to heart camp

Camp Bon Coeur, or Camp Good Heart, heartcamp.com, is one of my favorite nonprofits.

Each July, campers who have cardiovascular issues come to a camp where they can just be themselves. Staffed full-time with medical professionals (all who volunteer their time), this camp allows children with serious medical issues to just be themselves.

This year, I’m trying to raise enough money to send one camper, Byron, to the July camp. It's $1,500 for him to attend.

Byron, 15, is rad. Last year was his first time at camp and he won best male camper because of the smile always on his face. (See photo above, the dude is cool.)

Since camp ended in June he has had three open-heart surgeries and has been in the hospital for more than a month. He’s strong, amazing and could use your support and inspiration.

Please help me get him to camp next year.

This camp is amazing as are the staff and volunteers who make it run. Help them succeed.

If we go past our goal, additional funds will go to his Family Camp fee. If, for some reason, Byron has to miss either camp program, the money will go to another camp child and family.
