Please Help the Animals of Wedrose

Hello,
Wedrose Acres Animal Sanctuary could really use your help! For anyone who hasn't heard of Wedrose, it's an amazing farm sanctuary in Central Illinois near Bloomington-Normal. They rescue animals in need and provide a forever home for them to live out the rest of their lives in a peaceful, loving environment.
I was lucky enough to learn about this sanctuary several years ago and it's always a pleasure to be at such a wonderful place, surrounded by incredible people and fur friends.
From goats, sheep, llamas and alpacas to horses, sheep, donkeys and potbelly pigs, Wedrose is truly a rainbow of beautiful, happy and very lucky animals.
Wedrose has been around for almost 20 years, and this is the first year their normal donations just aren't enough. Unfortunately, several animals have gotten sick and needed surgery in the last several months, and the vet bills are piling up a lot higher than they can afford.
Just in the last month, Jewel (llama), Bosco (llama) and Tobi Girl (goat) all ended up at the University of Illinois hospital at the same time with various conditions. Sadly, only two of them made it back. She fought hard, but Jewel had an infection that the docs ultimately determined she couldn't recover from, after trying their hardest to save her. She passed away and is missed dearly.

In June, Zorro, another llama, needed intensive hospital treatment for having too much zinc in his system and now requires daily treatments to maintain his levels. His bills have been significant as well.

In July, Laurie, a goat, needed significant hospital care for an infection, and Mugsy Marie, a rescue dog, recently had surgery for a tumor and bladder infection.

Vet bills have been so high this summer that Wedrose is starting to fear they won't be able to continue to take in animals, and there's even concern about the future of the farm.
Any help you can give them would be so appreciated. What makes your donation even better is that an anonymous donor has offered to match all contributions up to $5,000! That means if you give $50, Wedrose is getting $100!
Tobein, who chose to start Wedrose after she retired from a long career in Chicago, puts her heart, soul and life into these animals, and she hates asking for money ... but we all need help every now and then, and for all she's done to take care of those who can't take care of themselves, I can only hope her dream of providing a loving and nurturing environment for rescue animals will continue to grow and thrive.
