Weddle Motorcycle Accident Recovery

Donation protected
On Friday, July 6th 2018, Becky and Jeff Weddle were on their way home from a motorcycle road trip, when they were struck nearly head on by a car. They miraculously survived, but not without injury. Jeff sustained various broken bones throughout his body. Becky also suffered from broken bones and injuries, including a severely damaged leg that had to be amputated.  Jeff, and of course Becky, will be wheelchair bound for several weeks. With time, healing, and physical therapy, Becky should be able to receive a prosthetic leg.  However, the Weddle's current home is not handicap accessible. They will need extensive renovations, or even a new home, so that Becky will be able to more easily adjust to her new physical restrictions. Becky and Jeff have been riding motorcycles for over 30 years, and have always been responsible with their hobby. They have enjoyed many memorable road trips, and would be heartbroken to have this latest trip be overshadowed by life-altering loss. Let's help them instead feel an outpouring of love and community. Please help us raise money to be used for any out-of-pocket medical expenses, and for home renovations (or possibly a handicap accessible new home) for Becky and Jeff! Offline donations can be sent to Martha Newberry (Becky's sister) 1997 Weber Rd., Loveland, OH 45140 [The online fundraiser is being managed by Mallory Thalman, Becky and Jeff's niece. The funds are being managed by Grant Weddle, Becky and Jeff's son.]
