WE LOVE SOUTHEND WRITING WORKSHOP WITH T.T

We want to put on a 6 week writing and performance course for 11-16 year olds about ‘SOUTHEND’ what they love about it and what they would like to see improve in the town.
It will be with myself and slam poet champion and playwright Sadie Davidson.
There will be 20 spaces available and we would like to put on a performance at the end of the course and document the whole process,
The aim is to inspire the young people to create, find there voice and gain a sense of pride and love for where they come from. Building communication skills and making our community a stronger and better place to live.
We’re raising money for a venue, materials workshop facilitators and to pay a film maker to direct and edit the process.
