We are ALL fighting cancer together!

Last November when life seemed to be going so smoothly, my dad was diagnosed with Sarcoma Soft Tissue cancer.  Initially I was shocked, in reality we all were, I didn't want to believe that it was true. My dad, my hero, my rock and the strongest, kindest, most intelligent man I know has cancer. I often find myself upset with God as to why he had to this to us, but I have to continuously remind myself that God will never put us something that he doesn't think that we as a family cannot handle. I had never been so scared before. The only way to describe my emotions, since that day, is like riding a roller coaster. I have my ups and downs that all depends on how my dad is feeling that day.  Here recently (last week) we had a second surgery and thankfully they got the tumor out but chemo treatments are now in the works and it is such a scary thought for all of us. We want to reach out to all of our friends and family for support as we all go through this. I find myself praying often for God to relieve some of the pain that he is going through and for him to be 100% healed and I firmly believe that someday soon he will be.
