Kaitlyn is an Assistant District Attorney with Columbus, Bladen and Brunswick Counties in North Carolina. She primarily works out of Columbus County. She is the ADA in charge of sex crimes cases and she works with victims of sex crimes to prosecute their attackers.
Kaitlyn was paired with FISHER in February 2017. FISHER assists Kaitlyn with her clients. He works with victims of sexual trauma during depositions and testimonies in and out of the courtroom. FISHER also helps Kaitlyn by alerting to anxiety and anchoring when necessary to reduce stress.

paws4people foundation was founded by Kyria Henry in 1999 (then 12 years old!) with the purpose of using dogs as a means of helping people.
This nonprofit’s mission is to enhance the lives of those living with serious illnesses or disabilities by utilizing highly trained Assistance Dogs.
paws4people currently has more than 500 highly trained Assistance Dogs providing support in areas such as mobility and psychiatric service, educational and rehabilitative assistance, and social therapy. Together, these dogs have made more than 1,000,000 therapeutic contacts.
