Wayne Campbell / Family Fund

Wayne Campbell is donating one of his kidneys to his older brother Russ Campbell who is currently suffering from kidney failure later this summer.  Wayne is only currently working part time and his insurance will not cover any income he's going to lose while he is laid up for 4 to 8 weeks in recovery. His wife is scheduled to have her job eliminated around that same time Wayne is going to be laid up recovering. I'm starting this GoFundMe to help Wayne and his family make ends meet.

Wayne and the rest of the Campbell family are one of the many great families that grew up with me in Mayberry Village East Hartford back in the 1960's and 70's.  At a young age Wayne developed amazing mechanical abilities that allowed him to work on cars, engines of any kind.  I cannot tell you how many times he fixed a car for me or a member of my family.  I'm sure he's done the same for many of you that are reading this.  He was also instrumental in organizing a benefit a few years ago for my brother who passed away but at the time was suffering with MS.  The money raised from that event helped pay for a bedroom that was built onto the lower floor of his home so he wouldn't have to go up/down stairs. Wayne has always been a person who has never turned down an opportunity to give his his time to  help others , now it's time for us to do something to help him.   Any amount you can give large or small will be much appreciated.
