Waterway Survivor

This little guy was rescued out of Towne Lake Waterway on December 4th.  He was in the cold water for hours, finally pulled from the lake around noon.  He was shivering and collapsed as he was put on the bank.  After drying him off and finding a temporary back yard we got him to a vet.  We posted on several local sites but with no response, no chip and no collar we have been unsuccessful in finding an owner.  He walks with a limp, but shows no sign of pain.  A local resident veterinarian examined him, and unfortunately we discovered he has a broken hip.  We are trying to raise money to get the appropriate surgery for him while he is staying with a foster family.  Once he is healed, we will also need to find him a forever home.  

He is the sweetest boy you could ever meet, looks to be a lab mix.  He loves people and other dogs.  He will be a very loyal companion once he is healed and with a permanent family.
