Water Rescue Equip 4 Vol Fire Depts
Donation protected
December 26, 2015 is the night that is forever burned in Tom Mckellips memories, a volunteer firefighter at Walnut Grove, Missouri Fire Department and a retired firefighter from the Springfield, Missouri Fire department with over 25 years of experience. At flash flood on December 26, 2015 he was unable to save Brian Hunt from drowning in waters of the Pomme de Terre River near Pleasant Hope, Missouri. It was just 100 to 120 feet away from Tom, and he helplessly watched Brian as he spoke last words “Help me”. To prevent this from happening again, Tom and his team have worked tirelessly to create a water rescue system under the new non-profit, Global Rescue Systems.
The water rescue system can be launched from the shore with an effective reach of over 200 feet. It is designed for fast deployment, user friendly, effective rescue, and it is primarily made from recycled and common materials.
According to WHO, drowning is the 3rd leading cause of unintentional injury and deaths worldwide. With this equipment, it can save tragedies that might happen to you, your family and friends at the very moment. Non-profit is a way to give back to the community, and Global Rescue Systems wants to give this equipment to all Fire and Rescue Departments that need it.
All Funds raised will cover the cost of
Materials
Equipments
Creating a universal open source patent
Developing the equipment
We need your help to make this water rescue system available to Fire and Rescue Departments across the planet and save the lives of people. Every bit of funding is appreciated. The return for your donation is it may just be your life this saves.
