A group of Indigenous youth are retelling the stories and experiences of the water protectors at Oceti Sakowin Camp, which includes the unification of thousands of Indigenous people and allies; stories of human rights violations, and tales of building community through activism.

 (UPDATED)

We are having a gathering on November 10th starting at 4pm in Lake Devo at Ryerson University. It will be a gathering of Indigenous youth to tell their stories as well as a celebration and sharing of Indigenous culture.

RSVP to our Facebook event which can be found at "Mni Wiconi: Mitakuyelo". Also, follow our social media @moontimeproductions.

At the event we will be filming towards a bigger project, which is going to be a film about the same subject. We are trying to gather funds in order to hold this event, as well as help with filming funds. Anyone and everyone is invited and encouraged to come to our event.

Any support of any kind is welcome, whether that be through funds or words of encouragement. Please share with as many friends and family as you can.

"Oceti Sakowin Camp is a unified encampment of Water Protectors dedicated to protecting our land and water against the Dakota Access Pipeline. We value assuring the welfare of all people by honoring human rights, treaties, agreements, and cultures. Our goal is to peacefully and prayerfully defend our rights, and rise up as one to sustain Mother Earth and her inhabitants." - http://www.ocetisakowincamp.org/about
