Water heater for Buddhist monks

HELP LITTLE MONKS SO THEY CAN HAVE WATER HEATER THIS WINTER

For many, cold winter winds may mean donning warm winter garb or snuggling up by a fire on a comfortable sofa. For those who are living in Ghoom monastery in Darjeeling, India, it’s often a time to prepare for the ultimate cold.

Without running hot water and heat life can be very challenging for monks, especially little monks. Their water heater is broken since last year.

Monks in the Ghoom monastery do not have hot water or heating system. There are 49 monks including children monks. I am raising money so they can have water heater this winter.

Ghum (also spelled Ghoom) is a small hilly locality in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region of West Bengal, India. At the altitude of 7,300′ weather is very cold. The monastery lies below the road and is today less visited by local people due to various religious beliefs and confusion.
