We have achieved our goal! My name is Tracy Lynn and I am the entertainment coordinator for the Wasted Saints and the organizer of this GoFundMe campaign. I began transferring the funds to my own personal bank account. As soon as funds are transferred including some profits from our merchandise sales to cover CA tax, I will purchase the stage we have our eyes on from www.StageDrop.com via my own checking account. This stage is an indoor/outdoor compatible stage and stair system to ensure that our performers are safe. This stage will help us provide entertainment at Wasteland Weekend for a very long time. I am so blown away by the support of our community and grateful to continue providing an amazing experience for the festival's participants.
The Wasted Saints are a tribe of artists, performers and miscreants that call Wasteland Weekend home. We were founded in 2015, and desired to create a space where everyone feels welcome, a place for people to forge friendships and see something they have never seen in a post apocalyptic immersion event. What we didn't expect was the collective impact of the camp to not only provide a creative outlet for ourselves, but for everyone in the Wastes. Our stage has hosted performances, yoga events, teetotaler meetings, live music and the wanderer a shaded space. Our creed is "Hospitality is our Greatest Weapon," and in order to provide this we need your help. Our stage, the heartbeat of our vision, is literally on its last legs. We have created this GoFundMe to keep the energy churning, to continue to provide a magical space for all to express themselves, and to keep our patrons safe. We appreciate our community, any donations that you provide and will continue to provide a home away from home at the Wasted Saints.
