We have some exciting news. There is now an opportunity to do something tangible for Fernando.
Fernando was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (a malignant brain tumor) in 2008. Everyone was devastated with this diagnosis...everyone that is, except Fernando. He proves to be a fearless, amazingly positive warrior and continues to fight vigorously to beat this disease.
Fernando is 37 years old. He married his sweet precious wife, Morgan, aka Mo, July 26, 2014.
They have one adorable fur baby, Queso.
Fernando receives monumental amounts of encouragement, well wishes, positive thoughts and earnest prayers from family, friends and even strangers around the world. We know for a fact, all of us who continue to extend these sentiments play a vital role in his fight against cancer. We also know Fernando would never ask for anything more than our prayers and positive thoughts. Although, we have all wished there was "something more" we could do.

The encouraging plan set forth by Dr. Chang at UCSF will require Fernando to go "out of network" in order to receive treatment.
There is a $2,500.00 deductible and then his insurance will pay 60%. The estimated cost of radiation is $2,000.00 per session and initially he will be receiving 10 treatments. In addition to medical expenses, he will be incurring expenses as he travels to San Francisco for flights and accommodations; plus the GoFundMe fees.
Fernando's amazing, positive attitude is an example to all of us. He not only teaches Art, he is teaching all of us how to live!
