Warren Fire's 4 legged Friends need our help.

Earlier this week there was a devastating house fire in Warren. The owners were at work in Newport and got the call that their home was on fire.  When they arrived home, the police and fire department had already arrived. It took a while, but the fire department was able to extinguish the smoke and fire.  Apparently, it started in the garage and spread into part of the house.  Their beloved pups Oscar, Jake and Sadie and their cat, Oreo all ran into the basement to avoid the smoke and were rescued by the firefighters.  They spent 3 days at MA/RI Emergency Veterinary ER in Swansea being treated with IV fluids and oxygen due to smoke inhalation.  

They will need help with the animal hospital bills and temporary placement for their animals until they can get back into their house which will likely be a few weeks away. The vet bills alone were $3,800.  

We are heartbroken for the owner’s property loss, but thankful that all of their precious animals were saved by the quick thinking, professional Warren Fire Department.  RUFF, (Residents United for Furry Friends) is looking for assistance in helping these well deserving owners with these bills since the amount is well more than we can afford to provide for them. 
 
This GOFUNDME campaign is strictly for the veterinary costs for their 4 animals. No one should have to go though the horror of having their animals taken from them in an event like this and thank god they all survived.
