My name is Nick Nagribianko and I am the founder of Wake Hui. Our philanthropy initiative is to establish a series of "FREEride Days" to introduce underpriviledged youth to the sport of wakeboarding, in order for them to grow community, experience success, gain confidence and to have fun!!!
The goal of these ride days is to have the community come together to give back and to provide a day where youth will accomplish something new, realizing that it is their own unique individual skills that make them successful and will allow them to create the lives they want. Success is not contingent on socio-economic status, the environment you're born into, or the people you know. Success is acheived through your own hard work, perseverance, and commitment to something you're passionate about. I want these youth to be able to experience success based solely on their own skill and to take this new found confidence in themselves and apply it to all aspects of their lives so they can live up to their full potential.
Your donation will be used to provide this opportunity to a group of well-deserving youth. The event will include transportation to-and-from the event, equipment rentals, professional instruction from top coaches, lunch and snacks, off water activities, and some swag!
The goal date to raise the needed amount is June 25th, 2016, to ensure that our July 7th ride day runs as planned. Although we have a top fundraising goal for this ride day, additional funds beyond this amount will be used to establish additional ride days.
