I am sick.
I have many major chronic health conditions; pyoderma gangrenosum, hydrinitis suppurativa, fibromyalgia, arthritis, asthma, anemia, a pars defect, a fractured disk that is also herniated, bulging and dislodged, multiple degenerative disks, hypothyroidism, and just many other things that add up. The Pyoderma Gangrenousm doesnt appear without an underlying cause and we are on this journey to figure it out. I keep getting tested for more and more things, next month I have to have a endoscopy form my mouth to my small intestine to get some biopsies. We are at the point where the doctors are basically searching for cancers because something is going on and my body is failing me.
I just found out that I need to have spinal fusion surgery. This will cause my husband to miss work, I will be in the hospital for five days and I will have a long recovery period.
We are financially struggling. I have healthinsurance but there are so many things that I need that insurance does not cover. I also have a diabetic daughter and a son that is in the process of being diagnossed with Sensory Processing Disorder. His doctors feel that he is on the autism specrtum and he is nonverbal and has some agression issues especially when he cant communicate his wants or needs. Times are tough and I have been waiting for a long time for SSI to take hold. My husband does have a full time job, he just has to miss work frequently to take all of us to all of our appointments because I can not drive. I can not afford a cab or childcare so we all go out to the appointments. Sometimes we have 10 different appointments a week. I see many specialists on a regular basis and its very time consuming. We have to let so many bills go until a disconnect notice because we just can't afford anything.
Anything will help, hopefully this is just a long temporary situation and I will get SSI and be able to catch up on some bills and pay for some things that I need and that my children need.
