James Hancock's Medical Fund

Donation protected
As most of you may know, James Hancock was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after years of dealing with pain in his left leg. James has had four bone biopsies over the course of four years, and finally, after his fourth surgery, a diagnosis was made. James has begun his chemotherapy treatment at Duke University Medical Center, and upon completion of his chemo treatments, will begin radiation therapy. James is a husband and father of his precious one-year old twins, Jamie & Shelby, and son of Kent and Teresa Hancock. James will have another PET scan in a couple of weeks to determine the effectiveness of his treatment so far. The travel expenses, medical expenses, co-payments, and medication costs are accumulating for the family. The family asks for prayers for James’ healing as his treatment continues. James has such a positive outlook on this situation and is doing his best to continue to work while undergoing treatment. We’ve created this page to support this family and to help ease the financial burden of these accumulating expenses so that James and his family can focus on what is most important, and that is kicking cancer’s butt!! Donations of any amount would be greatly appreciated and will go towards supporting James, Carrie, Jamie & Shelby as they give everything they’ve got to beat this horrible disease. Whether you are able to donate or not, please share James’ story.
