We are a group of childhood friends that came from different walks of life. Soccer united us from a very young age, and continue to be the thread that holds our friend group together. Post college, we started a men's league soccer team in Minnesota in our hometown, St. Louis Park.
The city and the community has done so much for us when we were kids. Now, as young professionals, we wanted to “play” it forward. So we came up with an idea to create a small college scholarship foundation. We raise money through hosting a street soccer tournament and soliciting donations from small businesses, family members and friends.
The money that we raise goes to helping recent high school graduates pay for books, transportation and housing in college.
We are so grateful to be connected to the community that we love. What we do allows us to help support young people in our community.
