Please help Kevin!

Kevin Thomas Hooker works at The Strand House in Manhattan Beach California as a bartender. He has been working there for 6 1/2 years. Kevin is undergoing a medical procedure in which he needs to have an unknown mass removed. The mass was discovered during a recent check-up, following a severe allergic reaction he had to seafood. The mass is growing at a consistent rate and is attached to two portions of his ribs. A team of doctors are working hard to determine what the mass is, but are uncertain until it is removed. He will undergo surgery on September 26th that involves at least 24 hours in the Intensive Care Unit followed by a week in the hospital. They will deflate his lungs to remove the portion of the ribs affected by the growing mass and replace those parts with Gore-tex mesh. It is projected that it will take 6-8 weeks for Kevin to fully recover and be able to return back to work.  Kevin is working hard to save money prior to his surgery, but needs a lot of financial support while he is out of work for an extended amount of time. These funds will help Kevin pay his personal bills including living expenses in order to have a comfortable place for him to recover with the help of his family. He and his family will be very grateful for any kind of donation and are hoping to reach the donation goal by the time he has his surgery at the end of September. Kevin needs the mass removed in the upcoming weeks in order to determine what it is and the proper treatment to stop any further growth.
