Starting Medical School

I hope each of you are having a wonderful day. My name is Christel Wekon-Kemeni and I was recently accepted to The Wake Forest School of Medicine in North Carolina after waiting almost a year for an acceptance from a medical school. I was so focused on trying to get in that I never really thought about the immediate funds that I would need in order to transition into medical school until after my acceptance. Most of the financial aid that I will be receiving will be massive student loans that I will need to pay back in the future and I won't receive those until the semester begins. If you know me, you know how much I went through in order to get into medical school and how much this opportunity means to me. Getting into a medical school is an extremely tough ordeal, and I have a number of friends that can relate to that. With that being said, it would be a blessing if I was able to receive any contributions to help pay for my transition into medical school this summer. Any amount would be a tremendous help, because a dollar received is a dollar more than I have now. Much thanks to everyone that has supported me to this point, I HONESTLY could not have made it here without you all!! You are truly appreciated!!!
