Maureen Steward Camp Fire Survivor

Hi, I'm Maureen and myself and my family are all survivors of the horrific Camp Fire that ravaged Paradise, Concow and Magalia California.
Our home was in Magalia. My sister-in-law's was in Paradise.
WAS.
We are in shock and beyond devastated as a family.
We've lost EVERYTHING we own and are feeling pretty desperate. 
We shared what had been our parents home with our beloved pets. We're all big animal lovers, and I myself have been a Veterinary Technician for 38 years.
Having to deal with the loss of so many of them on top of everything else has been almost unbearable.
And to top it off, we had just obtained ownership and we didn't have homeowners insurance.

It's hard to even fathom a future right now.
Taking it minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. 
Right now, concentrating on moving forward is the key. 
A lot easier said than done. 
I now find myself scrambling to find a more permanent arrangement, along with thousands of others.
The thought  of rebuilding is a long way down the line and that is going to take money. 
So far, I have managed to buy a trailer to live in. Now to find a place to take it !

I'm not in the habit of asking for help. Normally it's just the opposite, it's given  in abundance.
This has been a very humbling experience. 
I'm  reaching out for help through Facebook to family and friends because I have no other alternative. 
I have to start over.
I have to move forward.
