Ryker's Surgery

Our son Ryker was born with a hemangioma on the end of his spine. After being referred to many specialist eventually ending up at Duke hospital. We have learned that our sweet boy has a form of spina bifida and has a lipoma inside his spinal colomn that is tethered to his spinal cord. To preserve his current level of functioning Ryker will have to undergo a major surgery on his spine/spinal cord in less than 3 weeks. As parents of course we were not prepared to hear this news emotionally or financially . Ryker will be in the hospital for a week at minimum. I am asking for any donations to help us financially since we are still struggling from me being out on unpaid maternity leave. The money will be used for travel expenses, hotel, and eats as this was unexpected to say the least. We will be in the area at least 12 days. We appreciate all the support we have received from our community and ask that we be kept in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Please help share to raise awareness!
