Jen's Breast Cancer Journey

This is our lovely friend Jen. As some of you know, she has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Jen is 36 years old and is married to Richie, a handsome lad who stole her heart and swept her off her feet all the way to Northern Ireland. She is a wonderful mummy to three amazing kids: Charlie, Addie and Harrison. She is also a supportive and caring daughter/sister and a thoughtful friend to so many.
Last week, following 3 biopsies, Jen was told she has breast cancer in her left breast and in the lymph nodes in her armpit . Currently Jen is awaiting further tests to determine the exact stage and type of cancer and the recommended treatment. She has been told she will likely need chemotherapy and surgery but the exact details are still unknown.
Jen has always been the most positive person. She sees the best in people and lives her life with a “glass half full mentality”. She is always giving to others without a second thought. Her faith in God only strengthens this optimistic attitude. This combination of positivity and faith is something that she needs now more than ever as it will be her superpower to beat this cancer.
Jen has a huge heart and because of this, she has touched so many peoples lives in such a positive way. Whether it was on the court playing volleyball, at her job at the hospital/doctors office, or at RIOT, Jen has always supported and helped others. Now Jen is the one who needs support to see her through these difficult days that lie ahead.
This page was started in hopes to remove any financial stress or burden from Jen and her husband Richie as they begin this long journey to fight this terrible disease.
