Our team's NASA project!

Donation protected

We're a team of students (and one very helpful professor) from Fullerton College and Cyprus College who are collectively participating in NASA's Micro-g NEXT challenge! Our goal is to build a hand-held anchoring device which will allow an astronaut to work on small celestial bodies (in space!) with very small amounts of gravity without flying off into space!

If our design is chosen, we'll be invited to NASA's neutral buoyancy lab in Houston, Texas, to test the device.

Any money donated to us will be spent on parts and tools for our design and testing process, as well as travel and lodging for our team's trip to Texas. The sooner we get the funds, the sooner we can move along with our design and testing. At the latest, we'll need travel funds for late spring.

For many of us on the team who are first generation college students, this is a unique opportunity and experience which we hope to leverage for furthering our academic and career goals.
