iConnect

List Elementary second graders will be connecting with residents at Bavarian Comfort Care through a new program using iPads to connect through FaceTime. This new program will be called iConnect. Students will be using their iPads to foster relationships with residents while reading books to promote fluency and comprehension. Residents will also have iPads and will have a chance to read a story to the students. This partnership of inter generational relationships will be a great way for students to get a sense of history and perspective. The partnership will also be a great way for the residents of Bavarian Care to get that wide-eyes acceptance and affection from students, which is so valuable and encouraging for all.

Our need: 4-6 iPad minis, Otterbox Cases, iTunes Cards to facilitate this program.
