This is Bella. She’s a 2 1/2 year old German Shepard/Heeler mix. She belongs to our son Alek and Daughter-in-law, Alyssa.
As a puppy, she and her siblings were left in a box in a field, in the Dallas, TX area.
Alek and Alyssa drove from Fargo to Dallas to adopt her.
Bella was recently diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma in her right shoulder. This is a very aggressive cancer. Luckily, it hasn’t spread yet! Her oncologist wants to do radiation to shrink the tumor and then amputate her right front leg, which will hopefully save her life, or at least give her a few more years rather than a few months.
As everyone knows, treatment is not cheap. This sweet, loving girl is still so young and deserves a chance. Alek and Alyssa have already spent so much and there’s a lot left to pay for. If you are able to help we would appreciate it so much!
