Gail Griffin is the kind of person who always tries to be positive regardless of what life sends her way. She loves her friends and what brings the most joy in Gail's life is spending time with family.

Gail's first amputation was October 2012, below the left knee due to complications from diabetes. Her journey was not over...

After 3 failed knee replacements on the same leg she now has constant severe pain and wearing her existing prosthesis is very painful. The only option is to amputate above the knee which is scheduled for Monday, June 1, 2015 and she will require a new prosthetic leg. Gail's other leg has peripheral nerve damage and a bad knee. Because of this it would be great if she could get a decent prosthesis to allow her greater stability and independence.

Mike, Gail’s husband works hard providing for his family and is a great support. Once again he will be taking extended time off to help Gail. The lost income will be a hardship and unfortunately, the insurance does not cover the full cost. Gail needs our help to purchase a prosthetic leg and for extra expenses.
