On Wednesday 22nd August 2018 Monkey disappeared from home in Bromley, Kent, England.. He was out as usual in the allotments at the bottom of his garden paradise. One minute he was there playing in the sun, the next he had gone. Now this is not usual for Monkey who never strays from his garden and allotment playground.
Monkey is a Bi-coloured (Seychellois) Siamese with piercing blue eyes. His coat pattern is unique and distinctive.
He is microchipped.
From the moment he was missed on Wednesday morning search parties have been out, every street, every allotment, garage, shed outhouse, coal-house and playhouse has been searched. Posters have been put through every door, on every lamppost, in every shop wiling to display them and at all vets and rescue centers in the area. His picture has been put on social media pages and shared around the world.
Monkey has many many friends and followers through the Siamese and Oriental pages on Facebook.
We have even sent a message for help to Ricky Gervais who has Siamese cats himself.
Now we think he may have been stolen.
We would love your support in raising funds to put up for a reward for his safe return.
Any amount you can spare at this time will be gratefully received.
the more we can raise, the more appealing it will be to someone who may have him or know where he is.
Some of the money would also be used to have more posters printed, more leaflets to put through all of those letterboxes again.
Monkey may need to see a vet on his return to make sure he is healthy as we don't want him poorly, and we don't want him making his playmate and baby brother Woof poorly.
Talking about Woof -
Woof is pining and calling for his friend. He doesn't understand why Monkey doesn't come home.
The quicker we can get this money together the quicker we can get those reward posters and leaflets made up.
Monkey's mum Kate is devastated, she needs her baby home. Kate can't sleep or eat, she is having trouble concentrating. The whole family is hurting, and worrying about their Monkey.
