Hope for Hunter

Meet Hunter! Hunter is an 18 month old Shepherd mix who was found in horrific condition. He had suffered severe head trauma either from being hit by a car or attacked by an animal. After being rushed to the vet, Hunter needed over 200 stitches and had lost some of his hearing as a consequence. In addition to this, Hunter had tested positive for Heartworm which he required treatment for as well.
After going to the vet this week for a checkup it was determined that Hunter also needs a dental as well as x-rays to determine why he's feeling discomfort in his hind leg. This may be a sign of spinal cord or nerve damage, hip dysphasia or arthritis. After we can get Hunter's medical issues addressed, he will be ready for adoption and to start his new life. As a rescue who takes on many medical cases, we are always in need of donations to help with the medical expenses that incur.
