Funding a struggling writing career

My name is J. A. George, and I am an amateur novelist struggling to get my career off the ground.  Although I have published one novella and one e-book, they aren't selling well, mostly due to lack of exposure.  My current financial situation makes it difficult to meet the basic living necessities, so I'm unable to advertise and get my name out to the public.  With some funding, I might be able to advertise and make more sales.

If this is successful, I might start making the money I need to move, have my own place, and work at my leisure while searching for an agent and publishers to send my work to.  Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.
