This is my son n law Ben Sloan and I am doing this for my daughter Brandy Sloan.
Its official autopsy came back as high altitude sickness.
Today, October 15, 2015, is the last and the first day of the rest of my life. Today I received the most unimaginable news ever. My beloved husband and the most wonderful father of my 3 amazing, gorgeous children has passed away unexpectedly in the Mountains in Wyoming. I told him not to go, I asked him to stay home. But he went and he will never return home to us. We will never see his beautiful smile or hear 'I love you babe/Buddy/sissy' ever again. We will never feel the warmth of his embrace again.
He is my best friend. My absolute best friend. He is my soulmate, my beloved Ben. He is the one I was supposed to grow old with. He is the absolute best husband and daddy. The reason why this family functioned so smoothly. Everyday he lived and breathed for our family.
I don't know where to go from here. I want this to all be a sick, twisted dream. I want to wake up from this nightmare. I need my husband. My children need their daddy. I don't know what we're going to do. This is not the chapter that was supposed close. Especially not this soon.
