As most of you probably know, I moved out to Australia a little less than a year ago. (I know it’s crazy that I’ve been here that long!) While being here I’ve have had to grow up and learn to be an adult. I have been attending the Australian Institute of Music in Melbourne for the last ten months but as of the past few months I have felt God calling me into a life of ministry. It just so happened that Hillsong Leadership College had the program I was looking into. As most of you know Hillsong is known for its AMAZING worship music. While I was praying about whether this is where God was leading me, I decided to apply and see if the door was open for me to attend. That door was opened wide! I am officially going to be attending Hillsong Leadership College this upcoming January. I will be studying Worship Music, with a focus in vocals! I am so unbelievably excited to have this opportunity to learn more about the Lord and what he has in store for not only my life, but for the lives I can impact with the knowledge I will receive through this program. My relationship with God has only grown stronger through this past year and I know it will only continue to grow through this next chapter. God is so good!
These past months have been a huge learning experience about myself and what it means to be on my own fighting for my dream while being in a whole new country. My parents, who have always supported me, were kind enough to pay my first semesters tuition. I still need to find a way to pay for the tuition for the next semester, housing, utilities, food, petrol, and a bed. After months of searching I was just hired on for a job and am saving as much money as possible to put towards my next chapter of life.
Anything you guys are able to spare would be a tremendous help to me at Hillsong College. Life can be pretty expensive over here. So, if you have it in your heart to donate I would sincerely appreciate it. If you are not able to donate, which I completely understand, then the most important thing I could use is prayer.
