CAMPAIGN UPDATE: JUNE 20, 2017 from new fund manager.
As many of you are aware, in the weeks preceding there was rumors and innuendo of wrong-doing in the fundraiser campaign previously in place for the West family to help save their home from foreclosure due to medical expenses and scant income due to the dreaded disease of cancer. Lies were spread and smear campaigns were launched which caused the GoFundMe efforts to come to a screeching halt and reputations to be tarnished even though the accusations were baseless except for the ugly rantings of someone who never even met the Wests.
Also in question was what happened to the money raised. We are happy to announce and clear the air, that the funds raised to stem the foreclosure of their house did their job and called a halt to the current foreclosure matters for now.
As many of you also know there has been terrible tragedy befall Sonny and Judy West. Both have had long battles with cancer and assisted side effects from that cruel disease. Unfortunately, Sonny lost his battle with what started as tonsil cancer and ended with it having reoccurred as lung cancer, which took his life.
Judy, is now left to battle her own stage 3 breast cancer alone as a widow. She has an upcoming surgery for her breast càncer and subsequent rounds of radiation therapy to endure in the near future.
Those expenses, coupled with the bills created by Sonny's and Judy's vast amount of medical bills has left Judy drowning in debt with very little to conduct daily living costs. There is still house notes that will continue, utilities to pay, a long time non-working stove to replace, gasoline to get to doctors appointments and life-sustaining meds and cleaning and hygiene supplies to buy. Judy does not have a working TV hookup, no internet and didn't even have a radio to listen to until this week. So believe me, it's not as if she is living a life of leisure off of other people's donations. She needs legitimate prayers, funds and help!
The former admins of this campaign--Bryan and the other person many of you may have interacted with, no longer have access to this new fund. I have been appointed directly by Judy West herself to manage the online admin portion of this GoFndMe campaign and the funds then deposit directly to a memorial fund set up at at a local bank with an official bank officer who oversees the account.
If you are moved to contribute to this Gofundme campaign to once and for all help Judy West recover, get on her feet and at long last try and live a secure life like most of us have been blessed with it, would be greatly appreciated!
