Hello all!
My name is Jaycee Harris, and I'm currently a student enrolled at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL pursuing a bachelor's degree in "Worship Ministries." This degree teaches me in the field of ministry, specifically in the musical arts, on enhancing the community, inspiring people in their devotion to God, and providing an avenue for entry into the Christian faith.
In order to continue my academic journey as a junior this upcoming Fall 2019 semester, I must achieve a way to finance $5,191 by Aug 28th, 2019. I was blessed to receive over $8k in scholarships and grants this semester due to academic success, and $3k in federal student loans. This year, however, my family and I didn't qualify for certain grants and loans received in previous years that helped cover the rest of my school year's tuition.
NOW, whether I reach this financial goal or not, God's will shall still be done and His name will continue to be glorified. However, I would ask that you prayerfully consider sowing into this mission however much is laid on your heart. Receiving YOUR financial support in this endeavor will not just simply allow me to "go back to school" and further my studies, but it will reinforce the God-inspired dream to change lives through the power of the Holy Spirit and the message of Jesus Christ. So, I would ask that you not see this as just another college kid suffering at the hand of a brutal educational system, but an opportunity to invest in an assignment that's much bigger than us and anything we could ever think of.
Even if you can't sow financially, your prayers are an even more powerful seed that are also heavily requested. Thank you for taking the time out to review this story!
