Vlad's new liver

Donation protected
Dear friends,
I would like to thank you all who supported me for these 2 years.
This year my husband Vladimir Ksendzoff had liver transplantation. He had the last stage of liver disease which he got from Hepatitis C (the result of blood trasfusion). His life expectancy was 10% before the surgery.
My husband is unique in everything. His Hepatitis C is back after 10 months being negative (1 case in a million). His liver is in the process of rejection (anatomic peculiarities of donor’s liver). Now he needs a new treatment for Hepatitis C (which is $300 000.00), new liver transplantation (another million). His monthly maintenance and pills vary from $10 000.00 to $60 000.00.

The first surgery (transplantation) was on June 15th. The last surgery -Dec.7th. A part of his liver was cut off and bile ducts were reconstructed. In between he had 7 smaller surgeries.
For this two years we had two different insurances: BCBS and Oscar. Unfortunately Oscar is not in TX anymore, and with new insurance we have to pay 25% of ALL. Besides it does not cover Baylor hospital even out of network. And he has to be there twice per week.
It is recommended to put his recent pictures on this site, but he looks terrible. Because of his disease he lost a lot of weight and is now 118 pounds(he is 6’1”).

It is very difficult for me to ask for help, alas I have no way out.
