Help Little "Nate" Armstrong!!

This is Nathaniel "Nate" Isaiah Armstrong; he was born on October 6, 2015 to his very proud parents and family. On Novemember 14, 2015 after being taken to Fletcher Allen Hospital for fevers and seizures he was diagnosed with a very rare form of Epilepsy. 
Nate has Hemimegalencephaly, there are only 100 cases of this rare neurological disorder ever documented, Nate is the 101st case ever documented. 
Nate is currently in the PICU on a ventilator because the medication they are giving him to try to stop his continuous seizures can suppress his breathing. Nate's condition usually causes one half of the brain to swell. The treatment for this is surgery and removal of the swelling tissue, however Nate's brain is swelling in a way that makes surgery unavailble. Nate's only option at this time is medication to try to control the seizures. Nate will be a special needs child for the rest of his life. Kristi and Joesph Armstrong are being so strong through this entire time and have asked for nothing but prayers. I ask that anyone that can help to support this amazing family PLEASE do so!! Their case is rare and they are not expecting anything.....just prayers. Kristi and Joe have not left Nate's side....so please do not leave their side durning one of the most difficult times they will experience. The expenses assiocated with this can be detrimental........please lets help them to be able to focus their energy on BABY NATE.....He needs all of us and so do Kristi and Joe.
