Kenyan Expedition
Donation protected
I am a 14 years old girl and I am a second born out of 5 kids in my family. My school, Hereford Academy, introduced Camps International through an organised school expedition to Kenya. This expedition runs for a course of 4 weeks. I will get to learn the local culture, help build communities and appreciate the wildlife by going on a safari drive. This will also help build my portfolio for University with a small contribution to my UCAS points but most importantly the value of community unity and helping others in life. You may be wondering why my parents cant pay for it all? Why should you help? Well, both my parents work very hard, by serving this country and helping the elderly to provide me and my siblings with all the necessities we need. But asking for a whole £4000 just for me would cripple the resources for my siblings. This is why it is so unfortunate that my brother is not able to come with on this trip as that would cost my family £8000. It was a hard decision to come by as i really wanted my brother to come with me as we are very close. So your contributions will make a bigger difference to me and the world. I can not remember the last time i visited my cousins in Malawi and Barbados. So helping me go to Kenya will not only bring me close to my heritage but help me make a change in the world.
