Vision of Hope: Anastasia's surgery

Donation protected
A few years ago, Anastasia told me she was seeing blurry. She was in 10th grade and I wasn't quite sure what she meant. We made an eye appointment and the doctor said she had some double vision and gave her special prism lenses to correct them. I mentioned surgery and was told it wouldn't be necessary. Every few months, the double vision would return and she would need stronger lenses.

This past year it has progressed to the point of headaches, nausea and dizziness, even when she is wearing her glasses. Without her glasses, she is legally blind. At this point, she can't even get a driver's license. She has trouble with home work, class work and being on her second home.. the stage because of the strong stage lights hitting the prisms in her lenses.

We recently went to Jasper to a doctor we were told could help her and she can but we don't have the money to pay our out of pocket expenses that the insurance doesn't cover and we have to pay for them up front before the surgery can be done.

I don't care if it's 1.00. If you can help Anastasia see I will be forever grateful to you. This amazing young lady has worked hard her short 18 years to help others in our community. She has ran her own clothing charity, worked in the fields since she was 11 and always puts others before her. As her mom, it kills me that I can't just fix this.
