Vinnie and Mary Ann Icenhour
Vinnie had a traumatic fall from his combine on Sept 21, 2017. He was taken to Catawba and teated there for two days. Saturday, he was airlifted to CMC in Charlotte and has been there since. He suffers from 11 broken ribs on his left side and possible broken femur, his right hip was dislocated but is back in place, and currently 3 broken vertebrae in his lower back. Vincent is already receiving treatments for stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma cancer. Dr's have been trying to keep him stable since the accident.
Anyone who knows Vincent Icenhour knows one of his "happy places" is on his combine! He and Mary Ann have made farming their lives (and their children and their families have also). When most of us are sleeping in the morning and ending our days in the evenings they are still out tending to the fields or the work at the shed. Their efforts yield squash, zucchini, feed corn, soy beans, snap beans, hay etc. They are strong, hard working, loving, caring and giving individuals that would give the shirts off their backs (and have)! Please consider giving to help them with the mounting bills that they will be paying. Lets show them we care for them and their family, Ray, Ben and Amy, by any size of donation. I have seen God work in so much of my life, especially in the last month, I want to show them He and we at there with them!
"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give."
Thank You!
