Vincent Puckett's Funeral Expenses

Donation protected

This page has been set up to assist Vincent’s family with funeral expenses due to his sudden death.
His family is very appreciative of all the love and support that has been expressed and demonstrated during this very tragic time.
Thank you for any assistance you may offer to help this family no matter how small or a simple prayer.

Vincent was  14 years old and attended Mount Airy High School located in Mount Airy North Carolina.
Vincent loved music of all kinds especially Jazz. He had recently joined the Mount Airy High School Band and was so happy being part of this group. He learned to play the sousaphone as well as the tuba while in the band. He made great friends while in the band and band became a joyful part of his life. Vincent enjoyed playing the piano and recently began teaching himself to play the guitar.

Vincent loved playing sports and video games. He loved communicating with people older than him rather than people his own age. He had an internal spiritual self that he liked to share with others. He was a straight A student in high school and enjoyed learning about philosophy. Vincent was a deep thinker and was willing to share his thoughts with others that were interested in listening.

Vincent was a dedicated vegetarian with a deep love and respect for animals of all kinds.
HIs favorite movie was the Big Lebowski which is a cult classic movie that had meanings that most “normal” people would not get!

According to Vincent’s dad Vincent found it very hard to enjoy holidays in general due to his sense of pain that was going on in the world and with others. He would never ask for a present or a material thing because he felt guilty with the request.

Vincent’s mom Roxanne describes him as a “sweet soul” and he had a “smile that could light up the sun”. She tells me this as the tears of a grieving mother can only cry, stream down her face.

Vincent loved his sister Lily so much and looked up to her. When Vincent was a child he fell asleep most nights at the foot of her bed like only a little brother can do.

Vincent decided to take his own life on 5/1/2017 he struggled with mental illness and had been bullied by students in middle school. This affected him in a profound way which he carried thoughtout his short life. Although Vincent was only here for a short time on earth we hope that his death will bring attention to the pain that can be caused by bullying.

May you rest in peace Vincent you will be missed and remembered by many.

I am Regina Edwards handling the gofund account for the family of Vincent Puckett. I am a friend of the family  and have had the pleasure of knowing Vincent's mom for a couple of years. I enjoyed getting updates about Vincent when I saw her.
The funds will be used for funeral expenses for Vincent.
The money will go directly to the family to disburse as needed. When the goal is met for this campaign I will withdraw the money and give the family a certifed check.
