Vincent Viscuse Memorial Scholarship

Tax deductible
Vincent Viscuse was raised in Bethpage and graduated St. Dominic High School in 1995 followed by his brothers Anthony & Michael ’99 and Keith’05.  While at Doms he played JV and Varsity Soccer before continuing his education at Siena College.  He had a long successful career in lease abstracting and most recently was a head trainer. He worked for several large real estate companies before being diagnosed with cancer.

Vincent was heavily involved in the community. In 2005, his brother Keith wanted to start a soccer team but didn’t have a coach. Vin volunteered and that began his long career of coaching soccer.  He was able to put together a team of 20 eight year-old girls that never played soccer before and turned them into one of the best girls’ soccer teams that Bethpage had ever had.  They won multiple tournaments and reached first in their division several times.  He coached from 2005 through 2014.  It was then that his battle shifted from coaching to fighting for his life.

Vincent was always the first one to help in emergencies and always the one that family and friends would turn to for advice and guidance.  He lost his battle with cancer on August 28, 2016. The Vincent Viscuse Memorial Scholarship is being established in his honor.
