Vikesh Balgobind CA treatment

July 13, 2018, was one of the worse days of the Balgobind families lives.  They received a phone call from one of Vikesh's ENT that he was diagnosed with oral cancer.  Vikesh who has never smoked or chewed in his life underwent a modified neck dissection at CPMC.  December of 2018, a repeat CT head and neck was performed and showed no more cancer.  They were thrilled.  In April 2019, Vikesh felt a lump under his chin and went to see his head and neck specialist.  Vikesh was diagnosed with squamous cell carcionma again.  Once again, Vikesh had to endure another radical neck dissection that revealed the cancer is now spread to his neck lymph nodes.  A PET scan was completed and showed possible cancer involvement in various places throughout the body.  With everything going on, Vikesh also fell recently and broke his leg.  

Vikesh is only 37 years old.  He has a beautiful thoughtful wife Tina and two beautiful little children Tatum 3 years old and Amari 8 months who he adores dearly.  Tatum and Amari need their daddy.  Vikesh is currently undergoing radiation 5 times a week and chemotherapy 1 time a week.  Tina has had to step down to per diem, leaving Vikesh the sole insurance provider for his family.  In a few months he will have to start paying for cobra which many of you know is very expensive for a family of 4.  All donations will help Vikesh and his family during this difficult time to pay for medical expenses and the well being of his two very small children who need him so desperately.
