Viewfinders Art After School

Since 2011 the Baltimore United Viewfinders has been providing arts based learning experiences to neighbors of all ages at MICA P.L.A.C.E. in East Baltimore.



We've served community members from age 8 to age 80 with after-school art programs , free workshops, exhibitions and performance events.


Going forward we would want to bring the best of what we have created in our program into schools around the city. 

We believe arts education plays a critical role in the overall development of young people. It enhances and reinforces creativity: the number one asset required to face the challenges of the future.


There is an unmet demand for arts-based programs in schools around the city, we don't want lack of funds to stand in the way our youth getting the most out of their educational experience.


Your tax-deductible donation will help us bring talented artists, creative professionals, mentors and educators into schools to provide enriching  projects and programs to our school and community partners. 

With your support we can help close the resource gap that prevents some schools from offering arts-based learning experiences to students who are looking for a creative outlet. We have seen first-hand, how much of a difference it can make.
